What the camera tends to find under Ascot gardens
Three local ingredients make SL5 drains worth pointing a camera at. The first is sheer length: the pipework between house and sewer here was laid joint by joint, and every one of those joints, most made long before plastic drainage existed, is a place the next owner’s problem can start. The second is trees. A deformed or collapsed section normally needs digging, but the survey confines that to one precise spot.
