Why the furthest bathroom blocks first
Inside a larger house, an en-suite at the far wing may drain through several metres of internal pipework before it ever reaches the stack, threading under floors and around joists with only a shallow fall to keep things moving. Waste travels that distance slowly, so paper, soap and hair have more opportunity to settle than they would in a compact flat where every fixture sits within arm’s reach of the stack. For scale and compacted deposits deeper in a waste run or stack, a powered flexible-cable machine works along the pipe and shaves the build-up back to clean pipe wall, restoring the original diameter.
